about

The song "HELL FOR LEATHER" was written around 25 years ago and recorded dec 2015 and sadly the subject matter is just as prominent now as it was then.
The song is about the repetitive robotic work ethic in general and how people are enslaved into a daily routine of work slavery and the psychological effects upon us.
It's about "the system" the shytstem, the one without wisdom.

lyrics

The day begins, got to catch a bus
there's no time for breakfast, is there peace in us
It's hell for leather, got to punch a clock
time don't lie, when your wage is in the dock
Turn me on, to the company song
I'll play it all day, where are we comming from
CH)
It's hell for leather, to the end of the tether
things get worse, before they get better
It's hell for leather, to the end of the tether
we go to work, and talk about the weather.
2
Some sit in an office, flushing jobs down a drain
we've nothing at the moment, but look us up again, look up to us again.
We make shoe laces, the light bulb breaks
the wheels keep turning, forever on the make.
Engines roar, the oil and the grease
we'de change it all tomorow, but today is in the way
